"Certificate Programs" are short-term academic programs. They are characterized by the award of a certificate to the program participant upon his or her completion of the curriculum and the immediate opportunity opportunity to gain practical experience by working in the U.S. for a year (OPT: Optional Practical Training). In other words, a certificate program is a combination of study abroad and practical experience. Such programs are perfect for anyone who would like to learn, with maximum hands-on experience, a specialty in a short period. Upon returning to Japan, one can apply the knowledge and experience he or she gained in the U.S. to advance his or her career. In the alternative, there are quite a few individuals who have, upon completing their year of experience, seek employment as regular employees at businesses in the U.S.
World People will be your advisor not only in providing support to you in your certificate program but also in assisting you in your post-program career.
